The ‘Barrel Buster’ is a 9.1m Clayton Gallant, custom built for your comfort on our fishing charters. It’s powered by a 310 h.p. Volvo Penta cruising at 20 knots with a top speed of 30 knots.

The Barrel Buster provides a comfortable experience with a

fully enclosed cabin with seating in a dry and warm environment even on

the wettest days. There is also a private and fully plumbed toilet for your convenience. Barrel Buster is surveyed under 2D and 2C Survey

Our secondary boat is a 7 metre Pro Marine, which has plenty of deck space with a capacity of 8 people, making it great for our snapper and whiting fishing out on Port Phillip Bay

It is powered by two 150 Suzuki four strokes with a top speed of 38 knots. This boat is trailerable making it fast and easy for us to get to wherever the fish are.

Daniel, the skipper of our boat the ‘Barrel Buster’ is a skilled and qualified Coxswain who has been fishing Port Phillip Bay since he was a young boy. As a Mornington Peninsula local Daniel is familiar with not only the best spots for snapper but also for gummy, calamari and whiting fishing.

Not only an experienced fisherman, Daniel is a qualified Marine Mechanic with a strong understanding of nautical operations. Daniel’s control and knowledge of the vessel would put even the most unseasoned fisherman at ease! From his time working  as a Marine Mechanic on boats on the Mornington Peninsula

Daniel has become familiar with some of the best fishing spots around Port Phillip Bay. 

Before becoming skipper of Barrel Buster Daniel also worked alongside some of Melbourne’s best fisherman, fine tuning his skills. Further to his experience, Daniel spends up to 4 months of the year in Portland, Victoria where he chases Southern Blue Tuna.

He knows all the tricks to help you bag a great catch!
